Neurology Gary Weiss, MD, board-certified neurologist and electrodiagnostic medicine specialist, holds neurology clinics at AVH on a regular basis. He treats a variety of conditions ranging from headaches and seizures to chronic progressive diseases such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease.Dr. Weiss received his medical degree at Northwestern University in Chicago and completed his internship and residency at the Mayo Clinic. At the Mayo Clinic, he studied under Norman Goldstein, MD, one of the world’s top experts in multiple sclerosis. In addition to his board certifications in neurology and electrodiagnostic medicine, he is certified by the American Association of Integrative Medicine. Other prestigious certifications include Fellow of the American Association of Integrative Medicine, and Diplomate of the College of Physicians and College of Pain Management of the American Association of Integrative Medicine. Four years in a row he was granted the "Distinguished Physician" award by the Florida Medical Association.
