Dana joined Aspen Valley Hospital in 2024 to manage the Compass Navigation Program. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (NP-C) through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in both Texas and Colorado. Dana is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American College of Cardiology.

Dana began her nursing career in 2008 at the Olin E. Teague Veterans’ Center in Temple, Texas, where she worked in critical care shortly after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in Belton, Texas. In 2016, she advanced her education at Texas State University, graduating with honors with a Master of Science in Nursing. Dana then worked as an Interventional Cardiology Nurse Practitioner at Baylor Scott & White Cardiovascular Institute for five years before returning to the Olin E. Teague Veterans’ Center in 2021 as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner.

Throughout her career, Dana has contributed to peer-reviewed articles, led process improvement initiatives, co-planned and presented at conferences and mentored future healthcare professionals. She has also been inducted into two honor societies for her academic achievements. Dana is committed to delivering exceptional care with a keen attention to detail and thrives on partnering with individuals and families to address their healthcare needs. She is passionate about empowering patients to take an active role in their health, supporting them in living their healthiest lives.
