Ginette Sebenaler

Ginette Sebenaler

BIO

Ginette Sebenaler is Aspen Valley Hospital’s Chief Financial Officer, responsible for oversight of Hospital finances and management of the building facilities. Ginette started at the Hospital in 2004 as the Controller in the finance department. She was subsequently promoted to associate CFO and interim CFO before being named CFO in 2016. When she began working at the Hospital, Ginette was part of the team that stabilized the organization’s finances in a time of economic uncertainty. As a member of the executive team, she helped lead the Hospital through the COVID-19 pandemic and the adoption of Epic, the nation’s largest and most sophisticated electronic healthcare records system. One area of focus for Ginette as CFO is customer service and working to improve the patient experience. Her team is trained to help our patients from the point of scheduling through the billing process including working with patients when they struggle financially. Ginette has a bachelor of science degree in accounting and is both a certified public accountant and a certified healthcare financial professional through the Healthcare Financial Management Association. She previously worked in the corporate tax departments at The Quaker Oats Company and Tellabs, Inc., two multinational corporations based in Illinois, and for two privately held firms in the Roaring Fork Valley. She volunteers at the Western Healthcare Alliance, a nonprofit that supports rural healthcare organizations in western Colorado. Two of her favorite aspects of life in the Roaring Fork Valley are the outdoor recreation and the extensive cultural activities available year-round.
