Dr. Jeffrey Krivit joined Aspen Valley Hospital’s otolaryngology department in 2022. He has considerable experience in facial reconstructive surgery, and all aspects of rhinology, including balloon sinuplasty. Dr. Krivit received his medical degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago in 1981 and completed his residency in otolaryngology at the University’s Eye and Ear Infirmary in 1986. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He practiced medicine for 35 years in the Midwest, from 1986-89 in Urbana, Illinois and from 1989-2021 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. During his time in Cedar Rapids, he served as chief of surgery at St. Luke’s Hospital and president of medical staff at Mercy Medical Center. He was among the founding members of the Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa, a multi-specialty group that is owned by its members. Dr. Krivit served on the board of Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa (PCI) for 16 years and was the department chairman of PCI/ENT for 20 years. During his time at PCI, the group partnered with St. Luke’s Hospital to build an advanced off-site surgery center. PCI subsequently built a 250,000-square-foot multi-specialty medical mall for its members and other practices, located immediately next to the surgery center. Dr. Krivit also took his skills overseas on two medical missions, in Ecuador and Honduras. He served on the board of Orchestra Iowa for 15 years. Dr. Krivit and his wife Mary moved to Edwards in 2021 for the beauty and the skiing.
