BIO

Dr. Kimberly Levin has practiced Emergency Medicine at Aspen Valley Hospital since 2006. She also works as a staff physician at the Snowmass Clinic. Since 2013 she has served as the Pitkin County Medical Officer and as a Board member of the nonprofit Community Health Services. Dr. Levin completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Stanford University in 2003, and has worked in the field her entire career. She is board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. She spent several years running a clinic in Aspen for people experiencing homelessness, working alongside an ER nurse and patient care coordinator from AVH. She also has clinical experience working internationally, volunteering in Bolivia, Tanzania, Haiti and Ethiopia. Dr. Levin began her studies at Harvard College, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She earned her medical degree in 2000 from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. In Aspen she appreciates the access to the outdoors and mountains, the strong arts and music culture, small town life, and our wonderful local community.
