BIO

Dr. Louie Enriquez is the director of breast imaging at Aspen Valley Hospital. Dr. Enriquez is partner and board member with Radiology Imaging Associates in Denver, which historically provides radiology services to Aspen Valley Hospital. He has been practicing regularly at Aspen Valley Hospital since 2009. Dr. Enriquez and his colleagues at the Hospital have assembled a breast imaging and intervention program that utilizes the most advanced technologies available, including digital breast tomosynthesis, MRI and screening breast ultrasound. Risk assessment and breast density categorization are provided to all patients in order to utilize the most appropriate imaging adjunct to annual screening mammography. He is a co-instructor of the “Mastering Breast Biopsy Radiology Training Course,” sponsored by BARD, a medical technology company, in partnership with Invision Sally Jobe, a network of screening centers built and managed by his practice in Denver. Dr. Enriquez and his colleagues are experts in providing tomosynthesis-guided and ultrasound-guided core needle and vacuum-assisted biopsy procedures. Dr. Enriquez graduated from Yale University with a degree in medicine in 2003, and completed his residency and Breast Imaging fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic. He received his JD from Suffolk University. His life in Colorado includes skiing and playing tennis, attending Broncos and Rapids games, and entertaining family and friends.
