BIO

Dr. Matthew Dunn is a hospitalist who joined Aspen Valley Hospital in 2022. Dr. Dunn is certified in both pediatrics and internal medicine and brings extensive experience as a hospitalist. In 2011, he started the successful Meds/Peds Hospitalist program at the Flagstaff Medical Center in Arizona to meet that community’s need for excellent pediatric and adult care. He has spent a decade working locum tenens, as a relief doctor in Aspen and other hospitals. He also volunteered as a physician with FaithWorks in Agua Prieta, Mexico, and other locations. Dr. Dunn is drawn to Aspen by the Hospital’s dedication to high-quality care and its commitment to hiring hospitalists certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics who are able to treat a wide range of conditions in both children and adults. He graduated in 2007 from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his residency at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University/Christiana Care Health Services. Dr. Dunn is a fellow at both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians.
