No Two Days Are Alike at Whitcomb Terrace

Keeping active and engaged is important in senior wellness. For us, we strive for the structure of regular activity times but avoide routine. This is one of the many benefits of our size. We aren’t plugged in to a corporate routine so we are able to be creative and spontaneous with our activities. In fact, many of our activities are resident-driven, for example, someone may suggest a trip into town to look at art, or a drive up to Ashcroft to see the wildflowers or to put on some hot jazz during stretch class.

On most days we get outdoors for a group walk in the afternoon to enjoy our stunning views and get a bit of exercise. On chilly nights, we’ll gather around the fire pit for s’mores and hot chocolate and then watch a movie in the media room.

Keeping Current With Seasonal Events

Group trips to the Maroon Bells to see the colors, gondola rides to the Sundeck for an early breakfast, snow mobile riding at T Lazy-7 Ranch, summer concerts at the Music Tent and much more. Keeping up with the seasonal delights that Aspen has to offer is great fun and for our local “old-timers”
