In addition to overseeing the menu and quality of food served at the Hospital in our Castle Creek Cafe, Aspen Valley Hospital’s Nutrition Services team provides counseling to both inpatients and outpatients. As part of our ongoing vision to foster our community as the healthiest in the nation, classes and events are offered to the public to educate and inspire our community to learn and implement healthy habits. We offer Nutrition Services in Aspen and Basalt. Our nutrition team is available for individual consultations for those who wish to build a foundation of healthy eating habits.
Classes offered on an ongoing basis include diabetes education for Type 1, Type 2, or gestational diabetes, as well as for metabolic syndrome, a pre-diabetes condition.
