During this challenging time, your support means more than ever. There are many ways you can get involved and make a meaningful contribution to the continued care and wellbeing of our community through excellent healthcare.
Aspen Valley Hospital is immensely grateful for the outpouring of support we have received from the community as our staff focuses their efforts on caring for their patients, colleagues and neighbors during this unprecedented outbreak. Thank you for your support! During this time, the following are specific ways you can help.
Please practice social distancing and stay home! We can all do our part to flatten the curve, protect our community and reduce the number of exposures to COVID-19.
A gift to Aspen Valley Hospital’s Emergency Fund will aid our efforts on every front as we work together to defeat COVID-19 and care for our community. Monetary gifts give the Hospital the greatest flexibility to direct funding where it is needed most — staffing, supplies, technology and equipment are all areas where funds are needed.
Or, call the Aspen Valley Hospital Foundation office at 970-544-1302 to make a gift by phone. Checks can be made payable to Aspen Valley Hospital Foundation Emergency Fund and mailed to: 0401 Castle Creek Road, Aspen, CO 81611. Attn: AVH Foundation Emergency Fund. For any questions about donations, please feel free to call us at 970.544.1302 or email us at avhf@aspenhospital.org.
Community support at all levels is a critical need for Aspen Valley Hospital Foundation. Annual gifts are normally made on an unrestricted basis and apply to programs with priority need.
Aspen Valley Hospital has invested in a $170 million building and renovation project. The Campaign has raised $47.5 million towards a philanthropic goal of a minimum of $60 million. The Capital Campaign supports facility renovation and expansion as well as state-of-the-art technology.
Memorial gifts are expressions to remember and honor the memory of a friend or loved one. Or, gifts can be made in honor of physicians, nurses, caregivers and departments who have provided exceptional care.
Named gifts can honor and recognize loved ones and perpetuate the name of an individual, a family, or an organization. There are numerous naming opportunities available throughout Aspen Valley Hospital’s Network of Care, including building wings, centers of excellence, departments and rooms. For more details, please reach out to our Foundation staff at avhf@aspenhospital.org.
These can all be accommodated and often provide opportunities for tax savings. Please reach out to our Foundation staff at avhf@aspenhospital.org to facilitate these gifts.
Giving through an estate plan may help you minimize taxes, leave more to heirs, and support organizations that are meaningful to you. Leading estate planning attorney, Bill Gustoff, J.D., FCEP, President of the Legal Division for Thompson & Associates, an independent estate planning company, has agreed to partner with the Foundation. This partnership brings completely confidential and no cost estate planning services to you. This process enhances, not replaces, the work of your legal and tax professionals.
