Aspen Valley Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission, a nonprofit organization that aims to continuously improve healthcare for patients, and is considered the gold standard for improving healthcare quality and safety.

As a hospital, we have earned numerous accolades and awards, which are a tribute to the tradition of high-tech, high-touch care we provide for our patients.

Five-Star Experience

The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) ranked nearly 3,500 hospitals across the country for the quality of patient-reported experience for 2020, utilizing a 5-star rating system, and they reported the results on the Hospital Compare website. Aspen Valley Hospital is very proud to report that we are one of only 266 hospitals in the nation to receive a 5-star rating for patient experience, and we are among only four hospitals in the state to receive this prestigious recognition.

Guardian of Excellence Award Winner

Aspen Valley Hospital was honored with two Guardian of Excellence awards by Press Ganey, recognizing our “phenomenal performance” based on patient-reported experience from April 1, 2019 through March 31, 2020, specifically recognizing:
