Blood donation costs you nothing but your time, and it saves lives.
At Aspen Valley Hospital, we make it easy to donate blood by bringing the St. Mary’s Mobile Blood Bank to you. During blood drive events, the Mobile Blood Bank parks just outside of the Emergency Entrance at Aspen Valley Hospital. Make plans to join one of our events. You’ll find the calendar of upcoming blood drives below.

As of mid April, St. Mary’s Regional Blood Center is beginning the collection of COVID positive patient plasma.
Donors must meet several criteria established by the Food and Drug Administration, the first of which is to have already received a confirmed COVID positive test result. The Regional Blood Center can only accept confirmed positive COVID donors who have had no symptoms for at least 14 days. Once established, a second test will be administered, and if negative, then the plasma can be drawn.
Interested donors are encouraged to email their name and contact information to convalescentplasma@sclhealth.org or call 303-813-5230 to begin the pre-screening process. A screener will contact you to establish the remaining criteria.
