Alexis “Lexi” Bradfield is an exercise physiologist working with oncology and cardiopulmonary patients as part of Aspen Valley Hospital’s rehabilitation services team. She began her career at the Hospital in 2020 providing physical therapy, and then moved to oncology and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation in 2021. Lexi now serves as a cardiac rehabilitation therapist for the oncology rehabilitation program, working with patients to evaluate their challenges and needs. She develops a progressive, individualized exercise program to address each patient’s unique cancer-related symptoms. Lexi completed a masters degree in exercise oncology in 2023 at St. Francis University in Pennsylvania, and she works to stay on top of the latest research and treatment guidelines to ensure patients are getting the most up-to-date and reliable treatment available. She has a bachelor’s degree in sport and exercise science from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, her hometown. She is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support and basic life support with the American Heart Association. As a Colorado native, Lexi loves the sunshine and accessibility of the outdoors. She enjoys snowboarding and working with ski patrol in the winter, and biking and paddle boarding the rest of the year.
