BIO

Dr. Jennifer Potter is a board-certified anesthesiologist who joined Aspen Valley Hospital in November 2020. Her areas of focus are regional anesthesia using nerve blocks to selectively numb specific parts of the body and acute pain management. She graduated from the Duke University School of Medicine in 2011, and completed her residency at three different institutions as she and her husband moved around the country to study medicine, including the Intermountain Medical Center, the University of Utah and Stanford University. Dr. Potter completed a fellowship and practiced at the University of Virginia before joining Aspen Valley Hospital. As an associate faculty member at the American Society of Regional Anesthesia (ASRA), she teaches the Point of Care Ultrasound course, instructing other anesthesiologists and healthcare providers on how to incorporate ultrasound into their clinical practices. She and her husband were drawn to the Roaring Fork Valley by the natural beauty, our high-quality hospitals, and the opportunity to raise their children in such a beautiful place.
