BIO

Nancee Dodge began her Nurse Practitioner career in Aspen Valley Hospital’s Emergency Department in 1998, and then went on to work first for the Aspen Basalt Care Clinic and subsequently at Mountain Family Health Center serving the Roaring Fork Valley’s under- and uninsured populations. Nancee joined the Oncology Department in 2007 and has since attained her Advanced Oncology Nurse Practitioner Certification. Oncology has proven to be her passion, and she considers herself fortunate to work closely with patients and their families to navigate through the challenges that are inherent in a cancer diagnosis. She is also a medical volunteer at Casting for Recovery, a nonprofit dedicated to helping women recover from breast cancer. Nancee graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Colorado State University and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado, where she also received her Family Nurse Practitioner Certification. For Nancee, the best part of living in the Roaring Fork Valley is the access to natural beauty that surrounds us and the personal relationships that people living here develop.
