BIO

Dr. Betsy Brew is a board certified General Surgeon with a special interest in breast surgery. She is one of the surgeons who helped open The Breast Center at Aspen Valley Hospital in 2018. Dr. Brew followed in her father’s footsteps and attended Dartmouth College as an undergraduate to study geology. She earned her medical degree from Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in 1989, and then completed her residency and surgical training at the University of Colorado. She also completed a two-year trauma research fellowship. Upon completion of her residency in 1996, Dr. Brew joined Foothills Surgical Associates. Her current practice, Surgical Specialists of Colorado, works with patients in a number of communities around the state, in both the greater Denver area and the Roaring Fork Valley. She has three adult children and loves playing outside with her husband and family, whether skiing, mountain biking or hiking.
